An average libertarian learns what an average Tea Partier believes. Obviously, this doesn’t reflect everyone’s views. But it is based on my own experience as a libertarian, having attended a Tea Party last year. By then, the Tea Party has shifted away from Ron Paul, and resembled ideology closer to Sarah Palin’s or Pat Robertson’s. Many libertarians have since distanced themselves from the Tea Party because of this, while others still have hope for it. One major motivation for me making this video, is because I’m tired of people painting libertarians and people like Glenn Beck with the same brush. Glenn Beck is NOT a libertarian. And the Tea Party is closer to neocon than it is libertarian. It’s no wonder so many people are misinformed about libertarians. Thanks for watching.
